This notice explains how HandyBoomer (“we”, “us”) handles personal information when you join our product updates list at handyboomer.com.au.

Who we are

HandyBoomer is an Australian service connecting households with experienced tradies, starting with a Brisbane launch. HandyBoomer is a product of Astraark Pty Ltd (ABN 38 698 364 608). Contact us at hello@handyboomer.com.au.

What we collect

• Email address — so we can send product updates.
• Role (optional) — household or tradie, if you choose one.
• Basic technical information — limited details used only to protect the form from spam and abuse (for example, when you signed up).

Why we collect it

We use your email for HandyBoomer product updates about the service. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use waitlist emails for unrelated third-party advertising.

Consent

By submitting the waitlist form, you agree that we may email you about HandyBoomer product updates. You can withdraw that consent at any time (see “Your choices” below). When we send those emails, we will identify ourselves and include a way to unsubscribe.

How we look after it

We take reasonable steps to keep your information secure and limit access to people who need it to run HandyBoomer. Your waitlist details are not published or shared as a public list.

How long we keep it

We keep your details until the product-update campaign is complete, or until you ask us to remove them — whichever comes first. We may retain limited records where needed to respect your preferences or protect against misuse.

Your choices

• Unsubscribe — use the link in any email we send, or contact us.
• Access, correction, or deletion — email hello@handyboomer.com.au and we will help as soon as we reasonably can.

Sharing

We do not sell your information. We only share it if required by law, or with service providers who help us operate (if we use any), under appropriate arrangements. If how we handle data changes as HandyBoomer grows, we will update this notice.

Changes

We may update this notice from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do.
